Ownership and authority
The people responsible for delivery need sponsors who can make decisions, resolve dependencies and remove barriers.
Innovation Leagues
Turn strategic priorities into implementation. Develop the people, relationships and organisational conditions that let useful change keep happening.
Innovation can mean a better way of working, a different commercial model or technology used well. The starting point is what your organisation needs to do to make work.
01 / The implementation gap
The people responsible for delivery need sponsors who can make decisions, resolve dependencies and remove barriers.
Change has to fit the organisation’s operating reality, with protected time and access to the people and resources it requires.
Useful experiments need a way to become adopted practices, with iterative deployment and ownership that continues.
02 / The programme
Innovation Leagues is the larger organisational programme for building innovation as culture. Teams work on real priorities, across functional boundaries, and develop capability through the work itself.
Understand the strategic context, select meaningful challenges and establish sponsorship, scope and delivery responsibility.
Bring leadership authority and operational knowledge together. Use workshops, focused implementation cycles and practical support where the programme needs them.
Review what happened, adjust the conditions and develop internal ownership so the organisation can carry the next initiative forward.
Programme design follows your organisation’s priorities, governance, capacity and starting point. Scope and cadence are agreed around those conditions.
03 / Ways to engage
Work on a live initiative with the people who can enable it and the people who understand its delivery. Establish scope, ownership, dependencies, risks and first moves.
Examine recurring barriers across existing innovation or transformation initiatives, then improve the system through which they move.
Build recurring implementation practice into the organisation, connecting strategic sponsorship, cross-functional delivery and continuing capability.
04 / The IRON Method
The IRON Method underpins the interventions. Its five connected pillars help people examine the situation, establish foundations, change how work happens and build systems that can keep evolving.
Understand what is really happening and where progress is constrained.
Establish priorities, context, ownership and accountability.
Change the habits, tools and structures that shape the work.
Use feedback, judgement and relationships to steer through change.
Develop systems and capability that continue to adapt.
05 / ING Bank Śląski · Risk Division
A shared priority selected with the CRO and directors of 17 Risk departments became an implementable solution in two weeks, developed by existing employees with Irka designing and facilitating the process.
Over the following two years, the approach grew into the Risk Innovation League and a wider transformation programme. Strategic delivery and organisational capability developed together.
